We are so excited that we are now an aunt, uncle, and cousin! Chris' brother, Tim and his wife Ashley welcomed the sweetest little girl into the world on November 26, 2011 at 7:32pm. Ashley's water broke at home that afternoon, and the call went out that they were on the way to the hospital. They live in Columbia, and since we were in Greenville, we kept close contact over phone calls and texts. We were surprised when Chris' mom called us to tell us Harper arrived at 7:32pm! Harper was wrapped in the umbilical cord, and Ashley had an emergent c-section to rescue her. All is good now, and we are so thankful that God delivered her to us safely and quickly. Harper weighed 6.0lbs and was 19 inches long.
We went to visit Harper the next day, and we were so excited! We came to the hospital at bad time, so we only got to see her for a few minutes, but we did get a few quick pictures. We can't wait to get to hold her again super soon! I love all her hair and can't wait to spoil her with big bows, pretty dresses, and dolls! All my favorites! :)
A sweet friend made us fun shirts to wear to the hospital. We wanted everyone to know that we were there to see the cutest baby in the nursery!
Simms was so excited to see his new cousin!
Daddy and Simms
Daddy and Simms waiting in the hall. They are both so goofy!
Both those faces just melt my heart :)
Aunt Tifany and Harper, and her long, tiny toes! I could cuddle with her all day!
(And the answer is NO, this did NOT give me baby fever! My active little boy is soo much to handle right now, I couldn't imagine hitting this stage again of no sleep and constant feedings!)
Uncle Chris and Harper! He is a pro at rocking a baby to sleep!
Congratulations! We love y'all!
(And PS-- Check out Simms face...he was unsure of this little friend, haha!)
