Simms First pair of Shoes!

Let's face it, kid stuff can be expensive!  And Mommy, of course, has expensive taste.  Therefore, pretty much all of Simms clothes and shoes have come from local consignment sales or hand me downs.  We have AMAZING sales twice a year, and I get so excited.  Since Simms has started walking, we thought we should get his foot measured and get a pair just for him.  So, off to the Stride Rite Outlet we went.   Simms ran around the store like a crazy boy, and pitched his first public fit when he was put back in the stroller.  But...we did get a pair of shoes.  His foot measured around a size 6.  The lady at the store recommend a size 6.5.  So, of course to stretch a dollar, we bought a size 7.  Now, he trips too much and has a few more bruises on his knees.  So, we sent him out into the yard the next day and break in his shoes!  Sweet boy :)
