Birds of Prey

During the month of January, on Saturdays, the Birds of Prey center in Awendaw, SC had buy one ticket, get one free.  So, we went with some of our friends and took our kids.  Well, I am glad we did not pay the full admission.  There was not much for our 17 month old son to do besides run around.  They had birds in cages you could look at, but every time we tried to get Simms to see the bird, he looked into the sky.  That's where birds are supposed to be, right?  Smart boy!  You can take a guided tour of the birds, but we knew the kids would not be into that.  So, here are just a few shots of the day! 

We started out in the stroller, with no socks or shoes!  That's how he likes it!  It was also around 70 degrees that day.

Then he was out to explore.  More interested in climbing the rails than watching birds.

He also was only suppose to run on the trails.  Yeah right, he ran all over their grass!  Hey, he is all boy!
